Former football player Terrell Owens may lose home to foreclosure

A report from Realty Today stated that ex NFL player Terrell Owens could lose his property in San Fernando Valley after defaulting on his mortgage and acquiring a debt of over $900,000.

Owens reportedly failed to pay $905,417.06 in mortgage debt for his property on Sherman Oaks since buying it in January 2014. Owens was given a 90-day period to sell the property before the bank would foreclose on the property.

The two-story, 4,250 square foot house that Owens bought with former spouse, Rachel, was put on the market for $2.35 million.  The home was recently sold for $2.2 million. Owens, who had played for the Cowboys and 49ers, suffered financial hardships after retiring from the league and battling child support cases.
